Dave joined the Royal Air Force at 18. He served for 3 years. He completed a detachment of Air Ops Iraq in 2000, Where he was awarded the GSM II medal.

After 3 years he joined Merseyside Police where he received numerous commendations, accolades and awards. Dave survived being crushed by an 23 ton articulated lorry in a near fatal motorbike accident, then against all odds went on to become a World Champion representing Great Britain in Italy.

Dave became a high flying Detective Sergeant spearheading a covert unit tackling serious organised crime with in the Knowsley region of Merseyside and cross boarder operations with other neighbouring Police forces.

Having beaten cancer twice Dave continues to defy all the odds by outliving his current terminal diagnosis.

Dave has overcome the adversity he has faced and turned it into a positive. He gained his Strength & Conditioning qualifications at Leeds Beckett University and has worked within rugby at all different ages and levels as well as with coaches and players at local grassroots clubs as part of England RFU community. Dave has trained with UFC fighters, British boxing athletes, Stoke City FC Women’s players to name just a few.

Dave is an International Keynote and Motivational Speaker. Just some of the organisations he has worked for include UnderArmour, BT, Unilever, NHS and Macmillan cancer support.

Dave has also worked with government and public sector agencies setting up projects and presentations to help the vulnerable and at risk children within the education system at all levels.
